Our office and studio are in the Georgian ‘Cultural Quarter’ of the city centre. Hope Street runs between Liverpool’s two cathedrals, the modernist Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King and the sandstone Gothic Anglican Cathedral.
Please note that most of our staff are part time, so please contact us before your visit to make sure the office is staffed. You can leave a message on our answer machine out of hours or when the office is not staffed.
It takes about ten minutes to walk from the city centre shops to MDI. You can either walk up Bold Street towards the Bombed Out Church (St Luke’s) and carry on up Leece Street and Hardman Street. Then turn left at the Philharmonic pub on to Hope Street, and MDI is on the left. Alternatively find the Adelphi Hotel and walk up Mount Pleasant, then turn right on to Hope Street. MDI is on the right.
