6.15 - 7.00pm | Friday 18th May | Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
A processional performance at the Metropolitan Cathedral including dance artists, students and community groups, recreating the work of choreographer Pina Bausch. The Nelken Line is an iconic image from Bauschs choreography and with repetitive movements representing the change of seasons as dancers move in a queue style procession.
This is part of a worldwide project from the Pina Bausch Foundation you can read more about it and view a film of the work here.

All aged 18+ are welcome to join us but you MUST attend both of the following sessions prior to the performance on the 18th May.
Tuesday 8th May 7pm - 8pm: FREE open session to learn the Nelkin Line.
Tuesday 15th May: On site rehearsal of the procession. EITHER 4pm or 7pm - Meet at MDI.
