Dance Yourself Fit

Our studio may be closed, but we’re committed to connecting with the dance community in any way we can! People are what make our organisation work, so keeping in touch with you – dance artists, teachers, participants and students – is fundamental to get us through this strange and uncertain time.

Whether you’re working from home, in a key worker role, or caring for others around you, this enforced isolation can be demotivating, and let’s face it, dull! So if lockdown’s already giving you cabin fever or you’re feeling lost without your gym pass, we’re here to keep you moving.

Dance for Health

After a week at home, we’re itching to get dancing again! Spending hours sat at your desk, chasing after children and getting the chores done can be all-encompassing, so take some time for yourself. This basic 10 minute core workout is the perfect way to refocus the mind, and break up your routine. Find somewhere you can move a little (you don’t need much space), wear what you feel comfortable moving in and press play.

Dance can be solo, in a group… or both of these things at once. So join us on Youtube over the coming weeks, for a series of 10 minute workouts and beginner’s classes in a range of dance styles, and feel connected through our virtual studio community.
