Digital Toolbox : Dance Lab and Immersive Media Play Day Sessions

Digital is one of MDI’s Key areas of focus for 2022. We want to ensure that everyone is equipped to stay moving, working and creating, whatever the state of the world.

This focus will be applied to upcoming activities for our MDI Artist Collective and we’re opening up applications for new members in 2022.

The MDI Artist Collective exists to provide a space for artists to learn, collaborate, create and perform. Launched just before the pandemic, we have since been focusing on how the programme can exist and move forward in an ever-changing landscape.
Members of the MDI Artist Collective have had a successful term, fully immersing themselves in the Digital Toolbox Programme. The programme is designed to explore your artistic areas of focus, interests and digital experience (or lack of!) and discover how digital experience can support you on your journey.
Our ”Dance Lab phase”, will encourage artists who have been engaged in our Digital Toolbox playdays to bring their creative and digital ideas to life. For anyone who missed our first term of digital play days, we will continue offering ‘catch-up’  sessions.
Our next term of Digital Clinics will run from May – June every Monday and Friday from 1.00 pm.

The programme is primarily aimed toward dance artists but if you are an artist in another field and feel like you might benefit from the programme, please get in touch.

If you are interested in taking part, would like to join one of our catchup sessions, or if would like to find out more information, please email our Digital Programme Assistant Genni Debney: [email protected]
